Our official affiliations in Japan include Aikikai Honbu Dojo in Tokyo, the World Headquarters of Aikido (represented in Poland by the Polish Aikido Federation), and Shiseikan Budojo, located within the Meiji Jingū Shrine in Tokyo and represented in Europe by the International Shiseikan Budo Association (ISBA).
Our classes are taught by experienced instructors under the guidance of Sensei Tomasz Sowiński (Shihan, 6th Dan Aikido, Okuden Kashima no Tachi). We combine many years of experience, authentic ties to Japan, a welcoming atmosphere, and an individual approach to every practitioner.

Aikido for beginners
Our core Aikido classes are perfect for people who are starting their martial arts adventure. We usually train in the same group. We offer a friendly and supportive learning environment where more experienced participants immediately train with those taking the first steps.
Advanced Aikido
For those who already know the basics, we offer advanced classes that develop techniques and skills. Join us to learn even more about the art of Aikido. We often practice among the most advanced people, but also helping beginners, we learn to strengthen our knowledge and skills.
Ken-jutsu for everyone
Our Ken-jutsu classes at school Kashima no Tachi they are adapted to each skill level. Come and discover sword fighting techniques, in a friendly atmosphere, learning from people who get their knowledge from sources like the best Japanese teachers.

Aikido Class Schedule

Come to our classes where you will learn the basics of Aikido. We promise an interesting atmosphere and the help of experienced instructors.
Aikido is a martial art that develops the body and mind with smooth circular movements that neutralize the opponent's attack. This system emphasizes balance, reflexes and harmony, allowing you to develop both physical fitness and the ability to resolve conflicts with minimal effort.

Ken-Jutsu Class Schedule

Come to our training sessions where you will learn the basics of Ken-jutsu. We promise an interesting atmosphere and the help of experienced instructors.
Ken-jutsu is a traditional Japanese swordsmanship with roots dating back to the Middle Ages and the Kashima Shin Ryu school. The training focuses on precision techniques, body and mind control, and the spirit of samurai discipline. Ken-jutsu is a realistic combat system where, in addition to the technique of cuts and blocks, tactics, enemy awareness and character development in accordance with Bushido values are also important.

Seminars
Seminars and camps in Aikido and Ken-jutsu are special intensive training events that bring together adepts from different places under the guidance of experienced masters. Their main function is to deepen technical skills, exchange experience, and develop the mental and spiritual development of warriors. Seminars allow you to communicate directly with outstanding instructors, which accelerates progress and allow you to better understand the philosophy of martial arts. Camps, on the other hand, often last several days and combine training with social life, which strengthens the bonds between participants and helps create harmony of mind and body.

Where Are Aikido and Ken-Jutsu Classes Held in Warsaw?
SOTO Dojo training sessions are held at 6 Zwrotnicza Street in Warsaw’s Wola district. Location The Dojo is well connected by public transport, with the M2 Metro line located approximately 800 metres away. This makes it easy to reach us from districts such as Śródmieście, Wilanów, Mokotów, Praga, Żoliborz, and Wola.
Is the First Training Session at SOTO Free?
Our first Aikido or Ken-Jutsu training session at SOTO is completely free. We also do not charge any registration or joining fees, so you can try Japanese martial arts without any commitment and see if they are right for you.

How Should I Prepare for My First Martial Arts Class?
For your first free training session, all you need is comfortable sportswear, such as long track pants and a T-shirt, as well as flip-flops or sandals to walk from the changing room to the mat. We train barefoot on a professional tatami mat.
